Alexandra Moore is a Senior Solicitor specialising in employment Law and litigation. Alexandra trained with the Practice and following qualification, gained experience in two commercial law firms specialising in employment law. She also served on secondment with an international law firm advising UK and multinational clients on Irish employment law issues, before returning to the Practice in October 2017.
Alexandra has a proven track record in employment law, both contentious and non-contentious in nature advising clients on the legal issues arising out of the employment relationship. Alexandra advises employer and employee clients on day to day issues such as employment contracts, policies and procedures, data protection, grievance and disciplinary matters and performance management. Alexandra regularly advises clients on the termination of the employment relationship including claims of unfair dismissal, equality and discrimination claims and claims for bullying and harassment. She regularly appears before the Workplace Relations Commission, Labour Court and the Civil Courts on behalf of clients.
Alexandra also advises corporate clients on the commercial and employment issues in mergers and acquisitions or other business transfers or share sales. She advises on the employee consultation requirements in downsizing and compliance with the Transfer of Undertakings Regulations.
Alexandra also has significant experience in the area of litigation and dispute resolution with a particular emphasis on commercial litigation and insolvency disputes before the Commercial Court.
Alexandra holds a Diploma in Employment Law and Certificate in Pension law and Practice from the Law Society of Ireland. She is a committee member of the Pensions Subcommittee of the Law Society of Ireland and admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
